The certification, which covers all models in the HL Series with load capacities ranging from 5 tons to 50 tons, confirms compliance with the stringent ASME B30.10 and EN 818-7 safety standards for overhead lifting and fork truck mast applications. The certification process involved exhaustive testing of chain samples under controlled laboratory conditions, including static tensile testing, dynamic fatigue testing, and accelerated life testing simulating over 1 million lifting cycles. The ILEA testing engineers noted that the LiftMaster HL Series consistently exceeded minimum safety requirements by a significant margin, with an average safety factor of 8:1 compared to the standard 5:1 requirement.
